Shang Chi Production Has Been Suspended Due To Global Pandemic

Tape "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" from Marvel Studios has stopped production concern Coronavirus.

The director of the film, Destin Daniel Cretton, has gone into isolation on the recommendation of the doctors. Cretton has a newborn girl and decided to take the COVID-19 test. Disney and Marvel decided to suspend the production of the first unit until medical results arrive next week. However, according to internal sources, "Shang-Chi" will continue the work of its second unit and other production aspects.
The tape is filming in Australia, where the government has confirmed 156 cases of Coronavirus, of which three died. "Shang-Chi" is not the only tape affected by the pandemic. Elvis Presley's biopic with Warner Bros. Pictures' Tom Hanks (who tested positive for COVID-19) stopped pre-production.

"Shang-Chi" will star Simu Liu, Awkwafina and Tony Leung. And it is scheduled to premiere on February 12, 2020.
